Carrie Cogan attended Vassar College and holds an MFA in fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Kenyon Review, AGNI, Bennington Review, Nimrod, Pinch, Louisiana Literature, and elsewhere. She is a past winner of the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Society Fiction Prize and the Kenyon Review Nonfiction Contest. She’s been awarded a MacDowell Fellowship, a Ucross Fellowship, a residency at The Betsy Writer’s Room, and a 2024 Money For Women/Barbara Deming Memorial Fund Grant. She lives with her sons on an island in B.C., Canada, and is at work on her first novel.
